Introduction

The BG-Academy in Dresden will host the 2ndInternational WORKINGONSAFETY.NET Conference for the prevention of accidents and trauma at work, that will take place from 31 August to 3 September 2004.

This event will be a follow up of the Inaugural Conference, 3-6 September 2002 in Elsinore.

The 2004 conference will focus on the topic Prevention and Inspection.

An international planning committee is organising the event under the leading of the Federal Association for Statutory
Accident Insurance in Germany in co-operation with the International Labour Organisation and the European Agency of Safety and Health at Work.

All people are offered the possibility of a peer-reviewed, edited publication of their paper in the Safety Science Monitor if the paper refers to the topics of the conference.

Again, some 400 decision-makers, researchers and professionals responsible for the prevention of accidents and trauma at work will meet to discuss the recent developments in the prevention of accidents and trauma at work to share their competences across the traditional borders.
