General information

The BG Academy in Dresden offers conference rooms for 230, 200 and 100 participants as well as six seminar rooms for 50 persons each. In addition to the conference program, institutional based seminars may be held during WOS 2 in these seminar rooms.

Working language of WOS 2 is English, but the keynote speeches and four of the twelve parallel sessions will be translated German - English - French.

The hotel of the BG Academy has a maximum capacity of 300 persons, but there are other hotelswithin walking distance.

Additional facilities in the BG Academy will include two internet cafés.

Getting to the Conference

... by plane

The BG Academy is very close to Dresden airport: It takes seven minutes by bus 77 (towards Infineon, last stop) or 5 minutes by taxi (appr. 7 EUR)

... by public transport

• from Dresden central station: tram 7 (towards Weixdorf) to the Infineon stop (30 minutes)
• from Dresden Neustadt station: tram 3, 6 or 11 one stop to Albertplatz, then tram 7 (towards Weixdorf) to Infineon (20 minutes)

... by car (motorway A4)

Take the Dresden exit Flughafen/Wilschdorf. Turn right (towards Klotzsche) into Herrmann-Reichelt-Straße. After 1.3 km, turn right at the traffic lights (Flughafenstraße/Karl-Marx-Straße), and after another 1.3 km, turn right again (Königsbrücker Landstraße). After 300 m, turn left at the traffic lights (sign post "BG-Akademie" at the left).
