We have not arranged transportation for 11 September. However, should you need transportation on this day, please let us know, so we can see whether to arrange transportation due to all received requests.

Exhibition
An exhibition will be made possible if we receive enough requests to participate in this exhibition Should you be interested in attending the conference with a stand or with any other commercial interest, please contact the Conference Secretariat.

Badges
Each participant will receive a name badge upon registration. For security reasons, all participants are requested to wear their badge during all the Conference activities and social events.

Language
The official conference language will be English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.

Internet access
Internet is available throughout the conference at the Business Center.

Bank
The Eemhof has a cash point, but no actual bank. However, we will offer you the possibility to change currency from 12.00 - 14.00 hrs.

Currency and Credit cards
The official currency is EURO. To see how your currency converts to the EURO, please check the Currency converter at: www.xe.com/ucc/
Major credit cards are accepted in hotels, restaurants and shops. In The Netherlands it is compulsory to carry an identity card, passport or driver's license.

Electricity
Electrical current in Holland is 220 V/50 Hz. Round, European-style two-pin plugs are used. Appliances designed to operate on 110/120 Volts need a voltage converter and a plug adapter.

Public transportation & transfer to the conference
Public transportation in The Netherlands is very well organized. However, there is no public transport to The Eemhof. The Conference Secretariat will organize shuttle buses between Schiphol Airport and The Eemhof at the start and close of the conference. Details of the times of these shuttle buses and their departure points will be published on this website.

World time and date information
The time zone in Holland is GMT + 1 hour, also called "Cental European Time". To find out what time it is, please check www.timeanddate.com.

Climate
The weather in Holland at this time of the year is usually comfortable with temperatures ranging between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius with a good chance of showers.

Passports and visa
Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to entering Holland. Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa and authorization to attend the conference should direct a request to the Conference Secretariat in The Hague at wos2006@atp.nl before 1 June 2006. Please be informed that a letter of invitation will only be issued to registered delegates and when the Conference Secretariat has received full payment.

Insurance and liability
It is highly recommended that all participants carry an adequate travel and health insurance, as the organizers of WOS 2006 cannot accept any liability for accidents, illnesses or injuries that may occur at or during the conference.
