  * Participants who are interested are invited to attend the valedictory lecture of Andrew Hale as full-time professor of Safety Science. This is the formal lecture presented when a professor of the Delft University of Technology retires from his post. It will be held in the aula of the University in Delft at 15.00 hrs on 15 September 2006 for a wide audience from the university itself and of others from the network of the Safety Science Group in The Netherlands and beyond. The lecture and the short speeches following it will be almost entirely in English and will take approximately one hour, after which there will be a reception offered by the university. There are no costs for attendance or transport to Delft. Those interested in attending should indicate this in the space provided on the registration form for the conference.
